Mountain State Overland team member Jason and his wife discuss why they chose passivhaus for their new home.  "We thought building an energy efficient home was out of our budget and then we heard about passivhaus," says Jason, "there are some amazing ideas people are bringing to the table in the construction world and its about time people in America start catching up."

Their house recently won Green Builder Magazine, "Best Mainstream Home," for 2013 and they're doing everything they can to share passivhaus with their family, friends and the community.
